Happy Halloween!

It was another long day for us. Our day started very early at the farmers’ market.

After that there was hiking at a state park in the Appalachians.

Next we stopped at the C&O Canal.

Then we visited an old cemetery because I find them fascinating and it was Halloween.

There was some outlet shopping.

Finally we were home for dinner after 8pm. Since our day started at 6am I am exhausted. I will fill you in on everything tomorrow. I wanted to give you a quick peek into our day. Talk to you all again tomorrow.

  3. bitt,

Thanks for letting me know it isn't just me. I took far too many pictures of headstones. Some dated back to the 1810's.

Hope you had fun on Halloween.

  4. Super spooky headstones! What a fun Halloween, can't go wrong with the farmers' market and outlet mall. Some gorgeous hiking views too, wonderful!

  5. Sarah,

For some reason I am fascinated by headstones. I have not idea what that means, LOL. We found an old church that was involved in the civil war and since the cemetery wasn't fenced off we took time to explore it. ;-)

The farmers' market was great yesterday. I am going to miss it when it closes for the season.

Loved your cookie monster outfit. That was too cute!

  7. Heather,

I thought I was the only one that liked old cemeteries. Thanks for letting me know it isn't just me. ;-)

It was a fun day yesterday but very long. We didn't get home until after 8pm and I was starving. You know I am not happy when I am hungry. LOL

    talk to you later,

  8. Hi Ali...looks like you had a great weekend. We also went hiking. I'll put some of the pictures that I took on my blog tomorrow. We stayed overnight in an 1850's rustic log cabin...no tv or computer. Talk about strange..but it was the best time ever. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed hiking and being around nature like that. :o)

  10. Michelle,

It must have been a hiking weekend. Wow, that is an old cabin. I would love to see the pics of it.

I bet no electronics was odd. I would be lost without my smart phone at the very least. We were in Western MD and I had to go on roaming and the slow connection was killing me, LOL. You are tougher than I am making it overnight.
